Xcel Energy Recommissioning Energy Sacings Calculation Tool

Our principals were the primary developers of Xcel Energy’s RCx Tool, a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet based energy and cost savings calculation tool. We still work with Xcel Energy on regular updates and revisions for new releases. The RCx Tool is used by hundreds of Xcel Energy’s authorized recommissioning / retro-commissioning (RCx) providers across its Colorado, Minnesota, and New Mexico service territories to quickly develop trusted and vetted energy and cost savings estimates for nineteen common RCx energy conservation measures. Xcel Energy uses the energy savings estimates produced by the tool to determine the rebate dollar amounts that will be provided when the projects are implemented. Xcel Energy also uses the savings estimates of the tool to report on total energy savings realized across its territories due to RCx projects.
