Sustainability - LEED Services
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in 2000 to provide building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. With nearly 9 billion square feet of building space participating in the suite of rating systems and 1.6 million feet certifying per day around the world, LEED is transforming the way built environments are designed, constructed, and operated. Upkeep Energy offers services in support of LEED Certification for existing buildings (LEED-EB).
Bolder Energy offers services in support of LEED Certification for existing buildings (LEED-EB) in the following categories:
Greenhouse Gas Reduction
There is a growing need to report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and to develop strategies to reduce GHG. Bolder Energy can work with you to develop a carbon footprint analysis, GHG inventory, and to identify GHG reduction opportunities. We can also calculate the GHG reductions by implementing those strategies.
Renewable Energy Assessments
Bolder Energy is able to identify renewable energy options, conduct feasibility assessments, and advise on how to incorporate renewables into the building mix to meet renewable energy goals and portfolio standards.
