Adams 12 Five Star School District’s Stellar Elementary
Project Description: Design assistance and commissioning project manager for a new 67,400 sq. ft. elementary school served by an air-cooled chiller, high efficiency gas-fired boiler serving a two-pipe change-over VAV system. Project included HVAC systems, equipment and controls, lighting occupancy controls, daylighting/light harvesting controls and demand-controlled ventilation.

Douglas County School District’s Iron Horse Elementary School Controls Retro-fit
Project Description: Control system design and specifications, and commissioning project manager for a complete controls retro-fit from pneumatic to DDC on all HVAC equipment and systems. Converted constant-flow heating and chilled water to variable-flow systems. Converted constant-flow heating and chilled water systems to variable-flow systems. Implemented variable airflow temperature and pressure resets and optimized waterside economizer resulting in cutting chiller run-time in half.

Project included HVAC systems, equipment and controls, lighting occupancy controls, daylighting/light harvesting controls, demand-controlled ventilation, full kitchen, locker rooms, auditorium and motorized blinds in classrooms.

Project Description: Design assistance and commissioning project manager for 197,000 sq. ft. of classrooms, offices, teaching and research laboratories. Systems commissioning included all HVAC systems and controls, daylighting systems and controls, electrical distribution systems, laboratory hoods and ventilation equipment, laboratory gas, vacuum, compressed air and deionized water equipment and systems, heat recovery equipment, campus steam to heating water heat exchangers, plumbing equipment and systems, and greenhouse equipment operation and controls.

Project Description: Commissioning projrect manager for the First US LEED® Certified resort consisting of 100 residential units ranging from 1250 sq. ft. to 2880 sq. ft., three buildings, a theatre, retail and restaurant space, back of house facilities to serve the entire site, underground parking and fitness center with pool and spa. Systems commissioned included HVAC equipment, systems and controls, lighting system and controls, Snowmelt and photovoltaic array systems and controls.
